From the museum website:On September 11, 2010, join hundreds of people for Fire Fest! Fire Fest features a world-qualifying Chili Fest competition and the seventh annual A Ride to Remember Motorcycle Ride.

If you love making or eating chili, join us for the chili cook-off. This age-old firehouse tradition of cooking chili heats up when cooks from across the country vie for the title of Best Chili. The winner in each category (salsa, chili verde, and red chili) will qualify to compete in the World Championship Chili Cook-off! This event is filled with festivities, including chili tastings for you, and music and games for the kids. The Chili Fest competition is sanctioned by the International Chili Society.

The seventh annual A Ride to Remember Motorcycle Ride begins at the Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati. The after party is held at Harley-Davidson on Tennessee Avenue.

All proceeds from Fire Fest benefit the Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati and the Warthogs Police and Fire Memorial Fund.
