I had the pleasure of being on hand while the Hamilton County Police Association Honor Guard trained. The group is made up of officers both working and retired from about 20 departments throughout the area who dedicate their time and energy to honor their fellow officers and their loved ones when they pass, as well as serving their communities.

Wow, is all I can say. The dedication and crispness and honor that these folks bring to this important duty is really a great thing to witness. I’ll post a few photos soon, knowing they don’t do this group justice, but really appreciating all the hard work and amazing attitude they bring.

Thank you guys for allowing me to be there.

We are so proud of Lockland’s Brandon, a cop AND a firefighter, for overcoming so many obstacles dealt by fate and going home to his family today on the road to recovery. Truly a miracle as well as a testament to his sheer will and determination, as well as the love of his family, fellow officers, and firefighters.

Keep it up. We’re sure to see you eating burritos soon! We’re so behind you! Visit Cincinnati.com for the video & photos.

To donate to his recovery, please send a short email and we’ll put you in touch with the department. God Bless!
